Daniel R. Ledwith

A talented artist, Dan had planned to go to Rhode Island School of Design and enter a career in fantasy and sci-fi illustration. God, however, had other plans. On Christmas morning in 1984, the family house burned to the ground. Miraculously, Dan and his whole family all made it out, not only alive, but without injury. "God must have something in store of you, Dan," his father said when he met him on the corner of the property, "because there was never a better time for God to take you then now." The realization that God had protected him and rescued him from that burning house was the starting point of Dan's relationship with Jesus Christ.

In 1988 he entered Gordon College as a Biblical and Theological Studies major. The following year, Dan met his future wife Mandi at a Christian summer camp in Maine. Never one to drag things out, Dan and Mandi were married in 1990. Dan went on to graduate from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL with an MA in Theological Studies in 1997 and from Princeton Theological Seminary with an M.Div. in 1999. In 2004, Dan was ordained with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference (CCCC). In 2005, Dan and his friend and mentor Charlie "Tremendous" Jones published "Finding Freedom in Forgiveness" through Harvest House Publishers. In 2007, this book was republished by Executive Books under the title "Forgiveness Is Tremendous." Dan self-published his second book, "Rest in the Shadow of the Almighty," in 2011. Dan has been in pastoral ministry since 2002 and is currently a PhD. candidate at the University of Amsterdam.

Dan and his wife Mandi have been married 25 years and are now the proud parents of their three girls. They currently live in Haverhill, MA.
