It's been over 10 years since I published The Eden Prescription and my intent was always to turn this into a series of many books. I still have detailed notes, a story board and half a manuscript for the next book.

But literally a few days after publishing this book and receiving a Kirkus Starred review, my wife had a once-in-a-lifetime job offer in London and I knew this was my opportunity to turn part-time writing into full-time (while being the primary care giver to our child). This finally gave me the time to write the book I always dreamed of: a non-fiction work showing how powerful proper diet can be in preventing cancer.

I'm about 90% complete now and have amassed over 2,400 citations in my bibliography, the vast majority of which are research articles published in peer-reviewed medical and science journals. This book will be heavy on the science and light on chatty filler, but with key information readily accessible in each chapter.

I have a PhD in Applied Science and have 16 years of industrial experience in R&D.

I've lived and worked in the USA, Canada, France (Paris), Japan, Switzerland and currently live in London, England.
