How does God fit in paranormal energy?? I have been followed by a dark spirit. I pray my rosary often. On one occasion I had a bad experience. I kept saying to myself, God's providence, God's will. I was in my kitchen when I felt a push energy on my back. I fell hard on our terrazzo floor. I fell so hard I thought I broke or sprained my wrist and knee. So I asked God or the angel who protects me. (Why did you let me fall?) The answer I heard from spirit was,) "But you were not hurt." And it was true. I had no sprains or breaks in my wrist or knees. So in all of my experiences spirit or God is with me. We in life and spirit have fee will. But God is there to walk us through it.

My name is Daniela, Red gave me your book to read and I loved it.

I am visiting Red on Sundays to develop my senses and while reading your book I felt that someone was with me, some chapters I cried and I just couldn't understand why. I told Red about these incidents and others and he told me not to give up to "them" and to keep on reading. I know that he gave me this book for a reason, but I do like this spirit by me and all the signs I receive. I heard voices a couple of times but I got so scared....I wish I could win my fear and just open myself to what I am trying to achieve,

Love From the Other Side,In my book It's is true I released the breath of God, the vital life force in my exorcism. But my story is not like the EXORCIST. I knew the spirit inside my body. He had unfinished business. We had karma to complete. And there was healing.

How a person would know if and when a spirit has attached itself to them?

You can feel the energy. You receive thoughts, songs and feelings from the spirit. You see the bed covers move and feel the energy against you legs and body. Items in the house go bump in the night. You say words you had no intention of saying or hadn't thought of. The spirit can use your ectoplasm to materialize. I did not explain the technical or scientific terms in my book. I just wanted to walk the reader through my story.

I have experienced the ego, from the other side. It knows what buttons to push. But I'm learning to give it light. Blessings

Author Carol Shimp has written about personal life events in her book, Love from the Other Side. She was engaged to Danny Malone but decided against marriage. Instead, she married Alex Shimp. As her two children grow up and life closes in on the family, Carol begins to sense Danny's spirit, which she believes is sent to somehow torment her and/or to plead for help in "getting to the light." The spirit is highly controlling, and Carol seeks the help of spiritual healers in order to find peace of mind. She cites numerous instances of the spirit's involvement in her life, which is highly stressful due to problems with an alcoholic husband, a daughter going through a divorce, an alcoholic son and an impending foreclosure notice due to financial difficulties.

The author comes from a family of spirit believers, and she turns to the spirit of her deceased mother when the going gets tough. Carol does find solace in her writings as well, and she begins to keep a journal which becomes the basis for the book. Following the death of her husband, a new job and considerable release from stress, Carol seeks the assistance of an age-regression hypnotist who is able to rid Carol of the Danny-spirit.

Those who are followers of James Van Praagh will see Ms. Shimp's writing as a testimony to the spiritual belief system. The book is written in common-sense language which would appeal to those interested in seeking alternative answers to questions of spiritual beliefs. Ms. Shimp presents courage in telling her story with a forthright and honest presentation of her own belief system.

How I receive messages and visions?

I have always been open to spirit energy. I receive messages when I'm wide awake, sleeping or in the alpha state of consciousness before awakening in the morning. A vision usually occurs while in a relaxed state of consciousness such as meditation or hypnosis. When I see a vision, have a feeling or hear a message, I become compatible with energy from that dimension. When I feel the need I find quiet time and pray. My rosary is my favorite form of meditation. Being raised Catholic it gives me a familiar peaceful feeling from my childhood.

A note pad and pen sets on my nightstand so I can record my dreams when I wake in the mornings. When spirit knows you pay attention to their messages they become helpful. We on the earth plane don't like to be ignored and neither do spirits. Spirit is about love and forgiveness.

I believe spiritual awakening can happen anywhere to anyone.

My book, "Love From the Other Side" is about my personal experience. My senior year in high school I was engaged to marry a boy I have named Danny. We had a violent break up. Through the years a large bubble held these emotions. When Danny died his spirit came to me wanting to control and resolve our relationship. I suffered many emotional traumas including the loss of my husband.
