Doug Christiansen

I was born in Arcadia, CA and grew up in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains. It has been my pleasure to collaborate for many years with John Robinson, author of numerous Southern California guidebooks, on his Trails of the Angeles, the definitive guide to the San Gabriels. Currently I reside in Pasadena and several days per week I can be found on the local trails, usually with my canine companion Zoey at my side. My hope is that Trails of the Angeles will help inspire new generations of nature lovers to explore and help preserve the beauty of the Southern California mountains.
