If you like your stories tough, gritty, and dark, I've got some good stuff for you! If you like happiness, rainbows, and cute bunnies, hmm, maybe not. You may not feel good about life at the end of my stories, but it will be worth your time.

The authors I look up to the most are John Julius Norwich (his histories of Byzantium changed my life) and H.P. Lovecraft (the grandpappy of all horror writers). The author I most despise is Charles Dickens, because he got paid by the word and it shows: writers that spend pages and pages on details that do the reader no good are wasting the precious little time we have in our lives, and I write to give the reader what they need to know, when they need to know it, and to give the right amount of detail to allow the reader's mind to render the world in more vivid color than any writer could do on their own.

I enjoy reading history, philosophy, and schlock fantasy fiction. :) I make my own wine, love to travel, and believe you should never trust someone with no vices. There are 3 corgis and 2 black kitties that conspire with my beautiful, mean wife to run me like a rented mule. I once drank liquor out of a hobo's jacket in Transylvania and Red Bull from a Turkish cabbie in Istanbul. I've lived.
