C. M. Barrett wants the books she reads to entertain her and have humorous elements. She also wants to enjoy writing her novels and for you to enjoy reading them. Inspiration is optional.

She is honored to announce that a story she wrote is in Dr. Bernie Siegel's Love, Animals, and Miracles. The book was published November, 3, 2015.

Her book, Renew Your Life the Natural Way, received a finalist award in the Independent Spiritual Book Award contest in 2015.

Despite the evidence of the photo above, she is not a cat. Because she had to spend so much time thinking like one in order to write her series, A Dragon's Guide to Destiny, she sometimes forgot that she was human. She can also think like a dragon.

The four volumes of A Dragon's Guide to Destiny are: The Dragon Who Didn't Fly, Dance with Clouds,House of the Moon, and Book of Sorrows.

She is currently writing a dystopian series. Beginning some time in the future, it features clashes between an evangelical megachurch, Big Business, nonhuman superstars called Sidhe, and drag queens. A terminally inept Congress has been replaced by a powerless monarchy.

The Sidhe are looking for a few good humans. They find them in the drag queens, warriors equipped with stiletto heels, long nails, and unsurpassed bitchiness. The battle begins.

In addition to Renew Your Life the Natural Way, and Bach Flower Remedies: A User-Friendly Guide, she has written Animals Have Feelings, Too: Bach Flower Remedies for Cats and Dogs.
