Carol Webb

Carol Webb was born in the shadowed lands of the Welsh border, and spent her childhood in Wales and Shropshire. These early haunts provide the setting for "Through A Dark Portal"; the author’s avid interest in, and profound knowledge of, British history lend authenticity to the novel’s mediaeval time period. Now living in Southern California, Ms. Webb works for a local school district, and takes great delight in her interaction with the children, who are a constant source of inspiration to her. Her hobbies include reading, painting, music of all kinds, gardening and cooking, but her first love has always been fiction writing. In addition to "Through A Dark Portal", she has written three other contemporary romance novels and several short stories, and

is currently working on a historical romance set in the time of England’s Henry IV.
