I am a retired Biologist with an interest in all things Sherlockian, although my Doctoral thesis was on something quite different! My other interests range from Early English Music through Victorian women's poetry to classic film comedy, and old black and white films (such as "M" and "Bicycle Thieves")are what I like best to watch. My pet hates are marmalade and people who volunteer to do something and then don't.
