Vanessa Gray Bartal

Vanessa Gray Bartal is an avid reader who also loves to write. After a few years working as a 911 dispatcher, she quit her job and began writing full time. While primarily known for her best-selling cozy Lacy Steele Mystery Series, she has published multiple other books in many different genres. Along with writing, Vanessa loves to bake, and to eat (for which her pants and scale may never forgive her).

In addition to believing that everyone deserves a happily ever after, Vanessa tries to bring as much joy, warmth, and laughter to her characters as possible, fully believing the world needs a little more gentleness and light.
