Alexander Ruth lives in a town surrounded by a lot of green (Meerbusch). He studied history, Anglistics and German philology at the University of Düsseldorf and worked as a journalist and editor. In his science fiction and fantasy novels "Butterfly Stories" as well as in his various short stories, he combines reality with speculative fiction, medieval times, the modern age and the future – and transports the reader into unique magical worlds …
