Martin Willoughby

I've been creative since I can remember, telling all kinds of stories. Sometimes for the heck of it, sometimes to myself and sometimes to get out of trouble.

I wrote my first 'novel' when I was twelve, a dire tale of WW3, and excelled at story telling at grammar school. Sadly, I stopped this when I went out to work at 17.

Now I'm back in the creative life with writing, acting and playing the guitar. Although I can play a few songs I have trouble reaching F and B chords due to my short fingers and I haven't quite got the hang of changing chords properly.

In the past few years I have written several short stories, novels, as well as being a regular book reviewer for the British Fantasy Society. On the stage I have played several roles in amateur productions (www.katsdrama.info), mainly being the villain, a role that I seem to excel at due to my hideous laugh.

Highlights from my life include three kids, being on stage and having my parent's house surrounded by armed police.
