E.P. Marcellin

I’m a storyteller—though I like to think of myself as more of a narrative architect, constructing tales designed to outlast trends and keep audiences up far too late. My work spans award-winning fantasy novels (several of which have won Reader’s Choice Awards) and scripts for television, where I’ve been privileged to learn from industry heavyweights through programs like Shonda Rhimes’ MasterClass, James Hurst’s Pilot Script Lab, and the Screenfella Program.

With a BA in Creative Writing and Art and a well-worn passport, my storytelling draws from studies in social sciences, world religions, and history, as well as a lifetime of observing the beautifully complex mess of human nature. Growing up in West Africa and traveling extensively means I’ve seen more than a few ways life can surprise, inspire, and yes, sometimes disappoint. All of it finds its way into my work, which is rooted in crafting transformative narratives that challenge the imagination and shine a light on redemption, resilience, and humanity at its best—and worst.

Beyond the page, I’ve spent years volunteering to help people reclaim their stories and rebuild their lives, an experience that has left me equal parts humbled and endlessly fascinated by the human psyche. This has been an invaluable resource in creating characters who are multidimensional, painfully relatable, and often grappling with their own need for redemption (because, let’s face it, aren’t we all?).

I believe storytelling is one of the few things that can challenge what we think is possible—an act of daring disguised as entertainment. Whether crafting fantastical realms or grounded, human dramas, my focus is on creating narratives that are as emotionally resonant as they are unforgettable. I hope to explore bold

ideas and tell the kinds of stories that keep people thinking long after the credits roll.
