L .J. Hippler grew up in Baltimore and now makes his home in Lancaster South Carolina Hippler. He earned a

BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. He will tell you that his writing style has been most influence by: Anton Chekov, and Laura Lippman. Hippler's premier novel, Cathedral Street, set in South Baltimore, is a story of survival and hope. Three brothers who lead very different lives find they are joined forever by the secrets of a painful family past. Both, The New Road and A Bridge to Home are also set in Baltimore.
