After hitchhiking and living throughout Europe, Asia, and South America in his 20's, he returned to complete graduate school in Arizona, and has since been employed as a behavior specialist with emotionally disturbed children in the remote villages of Alaska, coastal communities in Oregon, as a multicultural psychologist in Portland and bilingual (Spanish) behavior interventionist in rural New Mexico.

His most recent book is Flip Your Life! and the accompanying blog at FlipYourLife.com wherein he teaches daily life change strategies to help people do things they never thought they would...or could. His other latest book is The LAO - Five Paths to Self-Compassion.

He conducts workshops and nationwide trainings on Healthy Parenting, Flip Your Life, and The LAO in addition to online coaching, and currently live in the mountains of southern New Mexico with his 16 year old son, Kaelan.
