Danielle Harel

Dr. Danielle Harel is the co-creator of the Somatica® Method, a somatic sexologist, professor, and author of multiple published books on sexuality, intimacy, and personal transformation. For over 20 years, she has helped people transform their relationships, sexuality, intimacy, and self-awareness. She holds a PhD in Human Sexuality and a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work.

Through her teaching, private practice, and leadership in the field of sex and relationship coaching, Danielle helps people reconnect with desire, deepen emotional honesty, and create more fulfilling intimate lives.

Danielle is also the lead sexologist and co-executive producer of Virgin Island, the BAFTA TV Award-nominated UK Channel 4 docu-reality series that brings the Somatica Method to television. Her writing invites readers to explore sexuality as a doorway into self-knowledge, pleasure, healing, embodied confidence, and deeper connection.
