John L. Manning

I was born and raised in Tennessee but spent nearly half my life (to date) in the Chicago area until I moved to Texas. Over the years my curiosity for "all things creative" eventually landed me a job in corporate communications with a Fortune 50 company. That's where I shaped my writing skills that I applied to many formats--print, video, electronic and even dramatic writing.

My family has always helped keep me young while at times making me feel old--yeah, I guess life can be a paradox at times. After 23 years in corporate America, I entered the free-agent market where I now spend my time writing books, producing video, managing websites and engaging in other freelance opportunities.
