Walt Cross

Walt Cross writes mostly non-fiction history books about the Old West and the military. Besides "Custer's Lost Officer" he has written "From the Little Big Horn to the Potomac" and is currently writing a new book with the working title of "Out West with Custer and Crook" scheduled for release in the fall of 2011.

Walt holds degrees in both history and science and is a combat veteran of the 7th U.S. Artillery. His father served in the 87th Cavalry, born at Fort Hood, Texas Walt is the son of a cavalryman.
