Her first memoir, Love & Other U-Turns was published with Allen and Unwin in 2010 and nominated for the Dobbie Literary Award.

This year her second memoir, A Letter From Paris, which chronicles a chance discovery of her late father's life in post-war France, comes out from Scribe.

When not reading or writing, Louisa is dreaming of France, patting her furry feline Sabrina, drinking coffee and thinking of kindness and miracles.
