James Grant-Peterkin

James is a cultural historian and graduate of Cambridge University. Originally from Scotland, his studies in linguistics took him to South America in 1996, where he ended up spending over 20 years living and studying on Easter Island. He has lectured extensively about the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, including at both Oxford and Cambridge universities, and has also appeared on numerous podcasts and speaker series. James has also written for the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the BBC, and is the author of four travel history books in the Travel Enrichment Series.
