I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. I was a tenure track professor at HBCU LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis and I've taught courses at Southwest Tennessee College, Park University and the University of Texas at Austin.

My background contributes to the various forms of writing I create. My early work is in fiction, poetry and non-fiction. My recent work derives from operating one of the most informative websites in the sneaker industry. I've operated e-commerce stores that have generated over 4 million dollars and I've owned two sneaker companies in Sho-Shot and ARCH. Over the last 5 years I've worked to develop my website arch-usa.com into a catalyst for conversation in the sneaker industry. I've taught Business Writing courses, Retail courses and literature courses.

My work on Center Court Basketball helped over 100 basketball players to attain college basketball scholarships. As a former NFHS Certified Head Coach and College recruiter, the website CCB allowed me to have footwear featured on Madison Square Garden TV, in Bounce Magazine and in the documentary by Bobbito Garcia "Rock, Rubber, 45s".
