Jane Sharp was born a long time ago in Yorkshire. She is a poet with a penchant for the surreal. Though her work is serious she does like to inject a little humour into her writing. Her hobbies include playing the piano and the cello. Together with her husband David, and following a twenty-year adventure in Crete, she is now settled back in Yorkshire, where her roots run deep. As a member of Barnsley Spoken Voices she performs locally. Her work has been broadcast on the BBC, and can be found in various publications.
