Phil Olson

About the Author: Phil Olson has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Minor in Music Performance. He also has a Recording Engineering Degree from Dick Grove School of Music. During a decade of touring,

his bands and styles spanned Rock, Metal, Jazz, and Fusion.

He helps with worship at his congregation – Kehilat Sar Shalom in St. Louis Park, MN. as well as helping out at other places of worship within the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area.

His passion for teaching the guitar culminated when he left a corporate career and started his own private studio which he has run full-time approaching 20 years.
