Kevin made his feature directorial debut with TMNT (2007), the animated revival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which opened at #1 at the box office and went on to earn nearly 100 million worldwide. He also directed Ratchet & Clank (2016), based on the iconic video game series. Throughout his career, Kevin has contributed to major international franchises, including My Little Pony, Dylan Dog and Hey Arnold!, showcasing his versatility and passion for storytelling.

Beyond animation, he’s also a comic book creator, co-authoring El Zombo Fantasma (with Dave Wilkins) and Olympus Heights (published by IDW).

Now, Kevin is sharing his most personal story yet. In his upcoming memoir, "BAD ASS: An Animated Diary of My Battle with Colorectal Cancer", he takes readers on a raw, unfiltered journey through his unexpected diagnosis and the fight for his life. Blending his signature wit, honesty, and resilience, Kevin’s story is both a candid reflection and a rallying cry for cancer survivors.

A proud husband, father, and recent cancer warrior, Kevin currently resides in Ventura, California, where he continues to create stories—both on screen and on the page—that celebrate the strength of the human spirit. When he’s not working on his next project, you can find him painting beach rocks, chasing inspiration, and advocating for cancer awareness with a healthy dose of sarcasm and hope.
