I have been a web designer for over 25 years. Several years ago I was asked to write a book on how I started my web design business. I figured, "Why not give away all of my secrets" :). So I did. They weren't really secrets but rather tips available to anyone willing to dig through the Internet. All I did was put it in the form of a book with lots of my experiences added. It was a very rewarding task, especially when emails started arriving, thanking me for sharing the things I learned along the way.

I still view myself as more of a web designer than a book author but with a bunch of editors looking over my shoulder and asking for clarifications along the way, it appears to have worked out to benefit the readers. I'm glad to have the opportunity to share!
