Myra Duffy started writing at a very early age, both fiction and non-fiction. She now concentrates on fiction, mainly cosy crime. 'The House at Ettrick Bay' and 'Last Ferry to Bute' are the first in the Isle of Bute Mystery series, followed by

'Last Dance at the Rothesay Pavilion', 'Endgame at Port Bannatyne', 'Grave Matters at St Blane's', 'Death at the Kyles of Bute', 'Bad Blood at Rothesay Castle' and 'Deadly Secrets at the Standing Stones'.

The prequel 'When Old Ghosts Meet' is set on Bute and in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. The most recent in the series is 'The Brydeshill Affair'.

In addition there are three novellas: 'Susie's Story', 'Dark Deeds at Bute Noir' and 'Decision Day at Kilmachal.'

Myra has also written a children's novel set on Bute 'The Motley Crew and the Mystery of the Queen of the Inch' as well as a romantic suspense 'Love is Another Country' and a contemporary novel 'The Lunch Club at George Square'.
