Dabney Gough

I write (mostly about food), develop and test recipes, and generally look for ways to make life more delicious. Other crucial details about me: Although I have a sweet tooth, crunchy-salty is what I most often crave. I will eat nearly anything but have a strong aversion to cumin, Szechuan peppercorn, and raspberries. I'm a lefty when writing but chop (and do most everything else) with my right hand. I am learning Spanish, but fear I will never master the Castilian lisp. Born and raised on a farm outside of Lynchburg, Virginia, I spent many years in San Francisco but am now lucky enough to call Honolulu, Hawai'i my home. Which means the words "y'all," "dude," and "aloha" are all part of my everyday speech.
