Zoe Clark

After being inspired by making her own wedding cake in 2005, Zoe turned passion into profession and headed to London to work with some of the most prestigious bakers in the business. Along the way she developed her unique style and skills, and subsequently set up her own business in 2008.

Zoe's cake creations have drawn attention from both clients and the press, and she was awarded Perfect Wedding's 'Best Wedding Cake Designer in 2010, 2012 and 2013.

Zoe has published seven titles for D&C. Following her success, Zoe opened The Cake Parlour, where she continues to make wedding cakes and speciality confections as well as running cake decorating classes for all levels of students.

Zoë’s unique and elegant style is often inspired by beautiful fabric and art, and frequently features in international sugarcraft and bridal titles. In 2011 she designed a range for Fortnum and Mason, which also commissioned her to make a cake for Her Majesty the Queen to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.

More recently, Zoë has generously shared her skills and knowledge to individuals through hands-on, intimate and larger group lessons, as well as online tutorials. Her classes take place at her shop, The Cake Parlour, in London; at international workshops and events; and via the online education platform www.craftsy.com. She teaches her techniques to students of all levels, helping them to create and decorate their own masterpieces.

Zoë has published a variety of bestselling books, from Chic and Unique Wedding Cakes to her most recent title, Simply Perfect Party Cakes for Kids. Her books offer all the necessary tips and techniques through easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions to make the projects achievable and interesting for everyone. Zoë’s success has come from hard work, determination and a drive to produce beautiful and innovative designs, and she hopes to continue inspiring and motivating through her passion for cake art.
