Patrick Leddin

Patrick is an Associate Professor and the Associate Director of the Practice of Managerial Studies at Vanderbilt University, as well as the founder and Managing Director of Leddin Group.

Patrick has over 25 years of professional experience working with all levels of organizations from executives and senior leaders to front line team members. His work with public sector organizations and numerous Fortune 500 companies, focuses on helping organizations, teams, and individuals clearly define their priorities and putting processes and systems in place to ensure success goal accomplishment. This work has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Patrick was the co-owner of Wedgewood Group, which made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in America. He served as Managing Director at Wedgewood Group until it was acquired in April 2012.

He is a previous Senior Consultant at KPMG Consultant and began his career as an infantry officer in the United States Army. While in the Army, he served as a company commander, executive officer, and platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne Division. His experience in the military includes completing Airborne, Jumpmaster, and Ranger schools.

Patrick is a native of Chicago, IL. He earned his PhD in Communication with an emphasis on Organizational and Instructional Communication from the University of Kentucky. He is a Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is the author of "Oliver's Spot", "Oliver's Spot for the Public Sector", and "The Five-Week Leadership Challenge: 35 Action Steps to Become the Leader You Were Meant to Be". All three books are composed of leadership stories that teach a process for team building, engagement, and results achievement.
