Biography

John C. Payne was born in Chicago but moved to Wisconsin as a youth. He is a retired US Army Officer and successfully owned and operated three small businesses in the past.

He loves to write and teach. John was an adjunct professor in business at several universities and spent many post-military years in the field of health care administration. Like his book trilogy's main theme, he loved to move and change jobs every three years engaging in new, unrelated, and exciting challenges.

He holds a B.S. degree from St. Norbert College in DePere, WI, and a Masters in Public Health Administration from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

John is married with three adult children. He resides permanently in San Antonio, TX.

Three humans are being warehoused because of end-stage cancer, classed as Stage Four). Their pets are keeping them alive until they pay a million dollars to a South Texas scientist for a cure. It succeeds, BUT, the cure is far worse than the disease! Genetic changes alter their behavior. They go on killing sprees with their pets.

Stage Five: The Reincarnation. ISIS is forming a cell in San Francisco to recruit disenfranchised females to join their jihad. Jamie Richards is reincarnated into the spirit of his great-grandfather, an intelligence officer in WWII for COL Bill Donovan's OSS, the forerunner to CIA. He is under contract with the CIA to "search and destroy!"

Stage Six: The Infidelity Murders. A former Chicago PD criminologist goes off the deep end and becomes an assassin. Contracted by an international outfit in Canada, a clearing house for murders for hire, she takes only high profile, million-dollar cases involving unfaithful spouses.

Murder in a San Antonio Psych Hospital, Revisited. There is another story to be told about the psych hospital in San Antonio that will grip the reader. A tribe of ethnic dissidents wants to take control of the hospital because the sacred ground it occupies is "theirs."
