Gene Cate

Gene Cate has been a career naval officer, yacht captain and has indulged in other forms of aberrant behavior from jazz disc jockey to PR executive. The Chapel Hill, NC native now resides on central Florida’s east coast where, for a time, he wrote a weekly cooking column and was the restaurant critic for Florida Today.

He is the author of a light-hearted cookbook “Take a Jigger of Gin...”, also available on Amazon.
