Matthew Curry

Born in Manchester, Matthew grew up in Wigan. He loves to walk and windsurf and sail in Galloway in Scotland. Matthew has done various jobs including running a bookshop. He lives in Lancashire.

Quite a few books he's written include: Virtual Reality; In Galloway; The Deep Blue Sea; and Three Duets.

Since his Selected Poems came out in 2020 from Peripeteia Press, he's produced poetry collections Plague Time and Fabulous.

He has contributed to Peripeteia Press teaching materials, and a while ago wrote several articles on poetry - on W. B. Yeats, Emily Dickinson, John Donne and others for the English and Media Centre.

Under the pen name M. J. Curry he has released in 2021 the long poem The Double Ballad of Lucy Day, and Sylvan Scene, a composite crime novel.

As Matt Curry he has published Meta Verse and The Gathering.
