Carolyn Davison

I was born in Cardiff, and grew up in the 70s and 80s in an area called Splott (yes, it is a real part of Cardiff). From about the age of 8 years of age I started writing short stories and poetry.

I am a Christian wife and I have 2 grown up sons whom I used to home educate. A few years ago I did a poetry reading at a ladies' group and they thoroughly loved it. There's nothing like reading poetry or stories out loud to people! I'm always open to the possibility of having another opportunity to recite my poems.

As well as writing, I play the flute and sing (but not together). I love castles, because there can be so many adventures which begin and end in them. I also love the Roman period of history because they were so innovative for their time.
