Jan Plamper

Jan Plamper is Professor of History at the University of Limerick in Ireland. His books "The History of Emotions: An Introduction" (Oxford UP) and "The Stalin Cult: A Study in the Alchemy of Power" (Yale UP) won prizes and were translated into several languages. His latest book "We Are All Migrants: A History of Multicultural Germany" appeared in 2023 with Cambridge UP. Plamper was educated in the U.S. (B.A. Brandeis, Ph.D. Berkeley).
