Elgin J. Dobbins

Elgin J. Dobbins is an established novelist and author of many short stories. He retired from the United States Air Force after almost twenty-five years of honorable service to this country; and is a Vietnam veteran. He was born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia. Joining the Air Force after high school, he traveled extensively, going through many life experiences. He lives in Alaska with is children and his wife, whom he met and married while in the military. He and his family spend a considerable amount of time in the out of doors, particularly during the summer. His first novel was "TO KILL AN ANGEL"; a mystery published in 2002. In the time since his first book was published, he has pinned many short stories. Many of them have a “Twilight Zone” feel to them with a religious twist. His forthcoming novel “THIRTY SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT” is set in contemporary times, and is the story of a man who receives word from God that a major American city is to be destroyed. It is his job to warn the inhabitants of the city of the coming catastrophe.
