Marlene Schulz, born in Heidelberg 1961, studied creative and journalistic writing; she was a fellow at the Institute for Creative Writing in Bad Kreuznach. She writes short stories and poetry and creates poetic word collages; she has over 100 publications, primarily in literary journals in German-speaking countries. In 2023, she received the Literature Prize from the Weinheim Literature Festival. Her debut collection, *W ORT SPI ELE*, was published by Achter Verlag in 2026.
