Jodie Lee Patterson (MA Journalism) is an internationally renowned paper crafts designer who combines a flair for modern design with her love of vintage imagery, and old-world charm.

Jodie Lee products, and the 'Gypsy Chick' brand are sold at the finest scrapbook boutiques and craft stores worldwide, and her designs feature regularly in such magazines as Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Crafts n' things, Somerset Memories, and Mary Janes Farm.

'Jodie Lee' digital scrapbook designs and photography tools are available through www.JessicaSprague.com/JodieLee, and a signature line of scrapbooking and stationary products will be released through Prima Marketing in January 2012.

Australian-born designer, Jodie Patterson, began her career working in multimedia development and design for the Australian Navy in 1991 at age 21.

The emergence of digital technologies in the early 90's brought new opportunities in multimedia, and Jodie quickly found herself forging a successful career in the Australian media. In the mid 1990's, Jodie worked with the ABC Television News production team to produce the nightly news broadcast, and starred as a telelvision reporter on a youth music video program on another network.

After completing a Masters in Journalism from the Unversity of Technology in Sydney, Jodie then went on to become the first Australian and New Zealand Editor of the Real.com site founded by internet media company RealNetworks.

With a move to the USA in 2004, Jodie decided to take leave of her media career and focus on her young family. Turning once again to graphic design, this time combined with a new-found interest in photography, Jodie began a small but successful company, carving out a niche in the digital scrapbooking market.

Jodie has since been a resident artist at several online stores, including ACherryOnTop.com, ScrapArtist.com, ScrapBlog.com, and more recently, JessicaSprague.com.

Jodie is best known for her vintage-inspired, eclectic style, and the popular 'Gypsy Chick' brand is well-loved for it's treasure trove of artistic creations - inspired by Jodie's love for travelling, antique flea-markets and old-world charm.

In 2006, Jodie launched her leading-edge designs into the paper scrapbooking market, publishing several successful scrapbooking collections with Bo Bunny, Pink Paislee and Prima Marketing (soon to be released).

Today the Gypsy Chick brand sells in scrapbook stores around the world, and Jodie's scrapbook layouts and photography have been published in magazines internationally.
