David Meyers

David Meyers joined the Roll Call staff in 1996 as editorial assistant, providing research assistance to Executive Editor Morton Kondracke. After serving as copy editor and news editor, he was named managing editor of Roll Call Daily in 2001, helping grow the newspaper’s online presence. In 2003 he became managing editor for the entire newsroom, responsible for the copy desk, production process and online operations. Following Roll Call’s acquisition of CQ, he was named managing editor of Member Information and Research, overseeing print and online products related to federal, state and local officeholders and staffs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from Tufts University and lives in Fairfax, Va., with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Samantha and Sophie.
