Alex Vrettos

Alex's stories can be a little dark but Alex himself is all sweetness and light. He makes a living hypnotising his clients into happier lives and in the spaces between he likes to spin yarns from the shadows in his soul. He likes to exercise his demons on the blank page before putting them back where he found them exhausted and wanting nothing but sleep while he gets on with real life life stuff.

When Alex was four years old he asked his Mum ‘how do we know that life is not a dream?’ Through no fault of her own she was unable to give him a satisfactory answer, and so he is still asking today as there's something far more intriguing about an unanswered question than there is about an answered one. Life's kind of like a treasure hunt without any treasure in that respect and so that is why he reads, writes and watches movies. Stories are a way to explore the unanswerable questions like this one and find an answer every time. Each story is a treasure map and the treasure is guaranteed, real or imagined.
