Christopher Clarke

Dr Christopher Clarke is a Consultant Radiologist in Nottingham (UK). He completed two years as an Honorary Lecturer in Human Anatomy at Nottingham Medical School and undertook a fellowship in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary imaging at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. He was treasurer for the British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR) 2020-24 and currently Vice Chair of the BSGAR HPB Subcommittee. He is also a member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and British Society of Interventional Radiology.

Chris is a keen educator and has published three books to date. 'Chest X-rays for Medical Students' was first published in 2011 with the 2nd edition released in 2020. His second book, 'Abdominal X-rays for Medical Students' was published in 2015 and highly commended at the 2016 BMA Medical Book Awards. His latest, 'FRCR Physics Notes: Medical imaging physics for the First FRCR examination' was first released in 2018/2019 on Amazon Kindle, released in paperback in 2020 and the 4th edition was published in 2026.

He is the founder of Radiology Cafe, a website for junior doctors giving invaluable advice for applying to clinical radiology and supporting radiology registrars in training with revision resources and mock exams. He enjoys web development, graphic design and cycling.
