James Sepe

I am on the accounting faculty at Santa Clara University where I teach primarily intermediate accounting in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. My education includes a B.S. from Santa Clara University, an M.B.A from the University of California - Berkeley, and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington. My research interests concern financial reporting issues and the use of financial information by capital markets. My articles have been published in The Accounting Review, the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Financial Management, the Journal of Forensic Accounting, and the Journal of Accounting Education. I am an author of Intermediate Accounting by Spiceland, Sepe, Nelson and Tomassini, a McGraw-Hill/Irwin text.

My wife and I live in San Jose, California. We both enjoy going to the ocean to relax and to the mountains to snow ski. We have 3 grown children and two grandchildren.
