Vicki Wootton

Vicki was born and grew up in England, but has lived most of her adult life in North America—all three countries at one time or another. She currently lives in the most beautiful part of Canada, British Columbia.

On the way to becoming a writer, she has raised a few kids and had scores of jobs, advancing from office clerk to law office accountant--a job she loved. She has read more than six thousand books.

Her system of writing is to use American spelling with British idiom (a sort of Trans-Atlantic style).

Being a pacifist and a Jesusonian influences much of what she writes in that she is often puts forth ideas for overcoming conflict without the use of force or excessive bloodshed. Her books are mostly in the speculative fiction and fantasy genres.

She is a vegetarian, and hates cruelty and injustice. She loves peace, learning new things, color, trees, classic rock and Mozart, and even her kids.

This author has pledged to donate 50% of all her royalties to the UN Refugee Agency and Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders)
