Currently the editor of USA TODAY Sports Weekly and our sports-related special editions. Active in the journalism world since 1994, working at such publications as The Washington Post, Pensacola News Journal, Nando Media and The Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Author of "How About That! The Life of Mel Allen," the definitive biography on the voice of the dynastic New York Yankees of the 1940s through mid-1960s and one of the most famous sportscasters of all time.
