Carol Bremner

Carol Bremner was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. A stay-at-home mother until the youngest of her six children went off to school, she started her working career at a University of Toronto library, where she happily lived with books until computers invaded the circulation desk. In her mid-forties by that time, Carol chose to transfer to the campus daycare rather than learn those intimidating machines. A year later she returned, having missed the students and the books. She started taking computer classes, then teaching computers, and now has a firm belief in the benefits of computer literacy, regardless of a person's age.
