Susan Barbour

Susan Barbour is a multidisciplinary artist, poet, scholar, and olfactory expert whose work explores the intersection of language, scent, and human connection. She is widely recognized for her "hair drawings," a unique practice where she creates figures using hair from her shower wall, which she then translates into larger-than-life neon sculptures. She holds a BA in English Literature from Dartmouth College, an MA in Poetry from The Writings Seminars at Johns Hopkins, and a DPhil in English Literature from the University of Oxford.
