Barbara L. Gordon

Barbara Lynn Gordon received her Ph.D. from the University of in Buffalo in 1982. She has taught writing in high schools, at the University of Texas at El Paso, and currently is on the faculty at Elon University in North Carolina. She was mistakenly thought to have metastatic breast cancer and her quest to find comprehensive information led her to write a book on recurrence and late stage cancer. She enlisted the help of compassionate and dedicated oncologists, along with many other experts, to bring to others knowledge they can use to prolong and better their lives.
