Caren Trafford

Caren Trafford is a well known environmental educator and popular author of books for young and teenage readers.

Using a unique suite of characters that charm, entertain and educate, her books are written for 6-14 year olds and aim to tackle the challenging environmental

issues we all face.

Caren believes that humour is a crucial component in teaching and uses it to illustrate how we can best support our planet. Her books have been translated into 7 languages and are read by hundred’s of thousands around the world.

All her books are part of the Premier’s Reading Challenge - a school-reading incentive programme in Australia.

Her latest book,'The Doggy Dog Dog Detective Agency: The Case of Green Ham' will be published at the end of 2011
