Anne Giordano

Anne Giordano is a retired elementary school teacher, staff developer, and principal with the Prince George's County Public School in Maryland. Her published article, "Strengthening the Home-School Connection" appears in "Principal Magazine, January, 1992. As a staff developer, she wrote, taught, and implemented educational strategies for teachers. Both books, "Spencer, The Magic Rabbit" and "Scotty, The Hero Dog" are beautifully illustrated. "Scotty, The Hero Dog" is based on real events from Ms. Giordano's childhood. Comprehension exercises at the end of the book provide assistance to the young reader and to parents who can use them as a guide for reading to a younger non-reader. "There is no greater joy than that which radiates from a child after enjoying a good story".
