Debra Markowitz

Debra Markowitz is the creator of the Nassau County Film Commission, one of the founders of the Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE), an award winning Writer, Director, Producer, Casting Director, freelance writer, ghostwriter, and novelist.

Three of her movies are on Amazon Prime, "The Last Taxi Driver," "Leaving," and "By Blood." She currently has several movies on the film festival circuit that are winning awards and is currently looking for funding to complete the final seven episodes in her LGBTQ+ series, Couple of Guys.

Debra hopes to, one day, turn her Karmic Wind Trilogy into feature films. The Karmic Wind Trilogy includes, "Naked in the Rain," "Sarah and Caleb," and "Karmic Wind."
