Larry Burns

I am the author of three books on data management ("Building The Agile Database", "Growing Business Intelligence" and "Data Model Storytelling", all published by Technics Publications), and was a contributor to the First Edition of DAMA International's Data Management Body of Knowledge. I wrote a quarterly series of articles for The Data Administration Newsletter (TDAN) and was an instructor and advisor in the Data Resource Management program at the University of Washington. I spent 23 years working for a global Fortune 200 manufacturing company as a Data and BI Architect, Data Modeler, Database Developer and DBA. I have traveled the country extensively, speaking at data management conferences and conducting workshops in Agile Data and database development.
