Caren L Cantrell

Caren Cantrell is an award-winning children's book author who writes both fiction and non-fiction works on topics that are important to her. She has published ten picture books, a middle-grade science fantasy novel perfect for STEM discussions, and the first chapter book in a series called A Secret Seekers Mystery. Whether your child is aged 3 or 12, she has a book for you. Caren loves quirky and curious characters who are determined to succeed no matter what stands in their way.

Her non-fiction books are part of a series called Planet Discovery Books for Kids and are written under the pen name, Matthew Taylor. These educational books explore the world around us and are perfect for kids 6 to 9.

Caren lives in Cave Creek, Arizona, where she is the owner of 102nd Place LLC, a publishing services company, specializing in helping authors who want to self-publish bring their books to market. She enjoys playing golf with her husband and hiking the desert mountains. When she isn't writing, or helping other authors, she's traveling the country visiting her ten grandchildren. Her three favorite words are, "Read it again!"
